On the 22nd of October, Dr Rob Lambkin-Williams attended the INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR BIOLOGICAL STANDARDIZATION’s workshop on the Quality of Challenge Agents.

The meeting report is available via the link below, but two things were striking;

  1. All those involved in the manufacture and distribution of Challenge Agents need to work closely together.
  2. That early discussion with the appropriate regulators is required as early in the process as possible to generate agents that are manufactured to the “principles of GMP”.
